In a context of strong expansion inside Senegal, Mouridism is gaining more and more ground among young people. Thus in Badar 7 Mouride disciples (including Serigne Cherif LY, Serigne Alioune DIOP, Serigne Afo SARR, Serigne Cheikh NDIAYE, Serigne Malick DIAKHATE, Serigne Racine NDIAYE and Serigne Mame Cheikh NDIAYE) founded a movement bringing together young Mourides in order to spread the work of Ahmadou Bamba through the khassaides.
